Modern Bungalow, Haringey
We have won planning permission for a bungalow home at a backland retail sit which is near Turnpike Lane underground station in Haringey, London. We have transformed a derelict poor quality brownfield site into a valuable new home. The design incorporates two shifted wings providing two courtyards at the front and rear of the site. Each wing has an asymmetrical pitched green roof that provides a visual amenity to the surrounding homes looking down onto the site. The new home is composed of a palette of stock bonded brick, oak windows, coloured metal rails, white stone together with a green wildflower roof.
